How Neverland Comes to Life at Oakwood

24 July, 2024

Venture to the magical world of Neverland and team up with the Lost Boys and Peter Pan to fight the dastardly Captain Hook.

J.M. Barrie’s beloved childhood tale of adventure and magic jumps right off the pages in our themed attraction. Our Neverland rides and play areas embody the story of Peter Pan, allowing children to play and imagine as much as their hearts desire. Go on a journey through the beloved story and remember to believe in dreams by living them at Oakwood Theme Park.

If you’re ready, “Come with me, where dreams are born, and time is never planned.” Let’s start our journey where Wendy and Peter’s journey began… London…

Start your journey in London

Your Neverland story begins in London. Hail a famous London Black Cab and whizz around the busy streets of London past some of the capital’s most iconic sites in the Sights of London ride. Keep an eye out for Big Ben, Nelson’s Column and other iconic London landmarks, there might even be a couple of hidden ones!

Experience a little magic

“I’ll teach you to jump on the wind’s back, and then away we go.”
Just like she does with Wendy, John, and Michael Darling, Tinkerbell is ready to sprinkle you with her magical, golden fairy dust so you can take to the skies.

Step in line for Tink’s Flying School and get ready to soar through the sky. The carousel is an exhilarating ride, perfect for all ages, giving you a taste of what it’s like to grow wings by effortlessly lifting you up into the sky just as a fairy could. If you’re not a fan of heights or are with fairies under the age of two, you’ll have to give this ride a miss and instead make great use of our other attractions in Neverland!

The Journey of the Lost Boys

Who could forget Peter Pan’s archenemy Captain Hook? You can join up with the Lost Boys and enter into Hook’s secret, watery fortress, Skull Rock! Leap into your very own log and journey around the back of skull rock, before travelling through the cave where Captain Hook is hiding out with his treasure! Then, enjoy an exhilarating splash out of the eye of the rock to the pool below.

Listen out for the tick-tock of the giant crocodile – board the Crocodile Coaster to escape from the pirates and return safely back to land where you can explore Hook’s House of Havoc.

This fantastic indoor play area is where Peter and his friends love to hang out when they’re not disturbing Hook’s dastardly schemes!

Enjoy the rest of what Neverland has to offer

Neverland, being a land of magic and adventure, has even more to offer to small children and big kids alike.

The little ones can enjoy running around the playground, flying down the tunnel slides and discovering all the little hideaways on offer.

Aerodrome takes it one step further by putting you in a colourful aeroplane and soaring you through the sky, just like Wendy and Peter!

Before you go

As your trip to Neverland comes to an end, disembark just like Peter Pan and the Lost Boys by jumping on the Jolly Roger and making your way back to London.

Hop aboard this young adventurers’ pirate ship and embrace your inner sailor while you sail the seas on this thrilling ride suitable for any pirate -(children under 6 years old must be accompanied by someone age 13+)!

A bite to eat is never a bad thing before a journey home, so why not make a quick stop at The Little Darlings Café for a quick snack?

“All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.”
