It’s truly been a summer of fun at Oakwood Theme Park, from After Dark fireworks and late-night riding; to scream-curdling coasters and water fuelled slides. We’ve loved it, and so have you! So to celebrate the amazing time we’ve had, we’re taking a look back at your stand-out memories from the recent thrill-packed months.
“What a fun day out. A great day with a young family, and the After Dark show was really fun. Our 3-year-old had the best time”.

“We stayed for the After Dark party… the fireworks were brilliant. I’d recommend the After Dark party, it was worth the wait and the rides are open until 9.30pm”.

“One great event was the After Dark event. The fireworks and light display were truly exceptional and well worth keeping the kids awake for”.

“We visited in the middle of the school holidays and was surprised at how short the queuing times were. We enjoyed the park… it was the first time my granddaughter had a go on Megaphobia and she’s addicted to it!”

“Spent a day at the park with my partner and daughter and we had a great time. The old [rides] ones are the best! Megafobia is a great wooden roller coaster and definitely one to try if you love such thrills”.

“The theme park is lovely and well maintained with a great mix of rides. We went on a Wednesday at the end of July due to the late opening which was a really great day. In particular, we enjoyed Megafobia!”.

“Had a total blast, thoroughly enjoyed it. We paid the extra to ride Vertigo… it was totally awesome, the biggest ride of its kind in the UK and a massive adrenaline rush”.

“There were plenty of rides for kids (we took a 4-year-old and 6-year-old). The water slides were outstanding and we kept going on rides all day!”
